It has been often said, with some justification, that the essence of Italian cooking can be summed up in two words seasonal and regional, that said there is another factor that lies at the heart of this wonderful cuisine. The love of good food.
 
     
 
Learning these skills of cooking starts at an early age as recipes are handed down the generations. With this in mind Guido Spina owner and Chef of award winning restaurant Guido’s in Alsancak is starting a series of Master class courses to pass on these skills to you to be held in his restaurant. Of course it will not be only Italian cuisine which will feature as he plans to include International dishes throughout the course.
 
     
 
Products recognition, basic sauces, cutting meats, filleting fish, use of herbs and sauces, vegetarian dishes, choosing ingredients and of course picking the correct wines to go with the delicious meals that you produce. What we have to bear in mind that Britain has now become the top of the pools within Europe for their love of fast foods we need to address the balance and introduce the better way to add variety, and of course calorific values to your cuisine.
 
     
 
Guido believes that cooking is for sharing, to enjoy with family and friends so he plans to include recipes for all occasions. The class will last about 4 hours. For those who complete the course a certificate will be presented.
